Abut the product
Veres Imola grew up in an artistic environment, which has had great influence on her professional life and it also created the basis for her later career as an artist. She studied painting at the Nagy István Art School in Miercurea Ciuc, then textile design at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca. During the master courses, she spent six months in Poland, where she had her first individual and group exhibitions.
In 2014, she participated in a program in Austria as a guest artist, where she experimented with outdoor contemporary textiles. She used this new concept to create her project within the Visible City program in Cluj-Napoca as well. Currently, she works at an advertising company, where she creates textile inscriptions and personalized designs.
The RE:WIND Collection is based on the winning design of the Castle in Transylvania design competition. For Veres Imola, it was very important to approach the subject of castles with playfulness and innovation, for example in the choice of colours or graphics. She created easily wearable products, and as an artist from Transylvania, she also felt that she has a part in supporting the promotion of Transylvanian castles.
